That and "Della and the Dealer," the latter of which Axton performed on the television sitcom WKRP, were Top 20 country hits. Two other singles from this quality album, "Wild Bull Rider" and "Evangelina," also entered the country Top Where Did the Money Go? from was much less successful, and the material is accordingly more uneven/5(11).

I like Hoyt Axton because of his talent but also because he is different -- unique voice, style, song writing, and verve. What a loss addiction caused. This CD is a strong collection, with 15% weak or poorly written songs, 25% so-so, adequate Hoyt songs, and 65% brilliant, fun, strong songs from this time in /5(24).
